Triangular teabags – an easier way to enjoy the flavour of tea brewed in a pot.
The desire to give customers an easy way to enjoy the flavour of tea brewed in a pot was the catalyst that produced our triangular teabags.
When we were developing these bags, double-chamber bags were mainstream and they did not provide the delicious flavour that we were aiming for. Through trial and error, we arrived at a triangular teabag with a string at the top. The flow of the tea leaves is very good due to the flat bottom and their flavour is drawn out efficiently and they achieve the same taste and sense of satisfaction as that of tea brewed in a pot.
These are next-generation teabags that can be enjoyed in an instant by anyone from busy working couples to seniors living alone.
By eliminating double chambers and individual wrapping, we save resources and increase quality.
It is possible to create Tetra Bags using approximately 1/3 less materials than the double-chamber method. We have also got rid of the individual wrapping for each teabag so this is an eco-product that is kind to the environment.
We use the TPB-200DS high-speed automatic production method which can produce teabags at a speed of 200 per minute.
