Kunitaro’s CSR expressed by the Earth and the moon
Kunitaro’s CSR is based on the three keywords: ecology, value and safety incorporated into CI and the two green spheres represent the Earth and the moon.
The Earth incorporates the following thoughts: thinking of humans, plants and animals and protecting the natural environment, and creating products with value to provide satisfaction to customers.
And, for the moon, we have the thought that we want to deliver products safely and securely from the point of view of offering foods produced based on HACCP just like when humans first went to the moon on Apollo.
*HACCP is a hygiene management system that manages important processes in particular in order to eliminate or reduce hazards such as contamination from organisms that cause food poisoning or foreign bodies and ensures the safety of products.

Approval and Cooperation
Plastic Smarts
Ocean plastic, which flows into the ocean through rivers due to littering, stays in the sea for a long period of time and, if we continue like this, it is predicted that it will exceed the weight of fish in the ocean by 2050 so there is concern about environmental pollution on a global scale. The Ministry of the Environment supports these kinds of initiatives and is running the Plastic Smarts campaign to further expand them.
Since 2000, Kunitaro has been working on production of bulk products to get rid of individual wrapping and is currently implementing initiatives that reduce plastic waste caused by individual packaging by around 214t (range total) annually with the Plastic Waste Reduction Declaration and adding illustrations to product to encourage the use of reusable bottes, the Plastic Smarts logo and the reusable bottle recommendation logo.
NPO Run for the Cure Foundation
(RFTC Japan)
The mission of Run for the Cure Foundation (RFTC Japan: council for early detection of and education about breast cancer) is to eradicate breast cancer in Japan as a life-threatening disease through education, timely screening and treatment.
Kunitaro donates a part of its profits from products to NPO Run for the Cure Foundation in order to facilitate early detection of and education about breast cancer and gift the necessary equipment to achieve that.
